Weather and climate
In July and August, temperatures in this area reach 25-32 ° C, and the sea temperature around 24 ° C. In summer, a stable Mistral blows in the Šibenik area (daytime breeze). The morning winds are variable, usually blowing as the southern breeze in the afternoon and calm at night. Mistral usually starts blowing around 10:00, and in the afternoon it can reach a speed of 5-20 KN (knots). At sunset it stops again.
Mistral is considered a wind in good weather because it is accompanied by a cloudless blue sky and pleasant temperatures at sea. Bora (NE) or Sirocco (SE) can also blow, although the probability is low. These winds blow mainly in the winter and spring months.
Waterfalls in Krka.
You definitely have to visit them, it's one of the unique places on the map of Europe.
Swim up to Skradin and immediately set off to the national park by the first morning water taxi or on foot in the early evening (it's a gentle walk of about 40 minutes). If you reach the waterfalls after the closing time, you'll be alone there. You will save yourself an admission fee, but above all you will not be part of the tourist crowd and you will be able to enjoy the beauty and intimacy of this place and swim in or under the waterfalls. Swimming under the waterfall is only for the strongest swimmers!
